A magical, fantastical escape in the heart of Cashiers, North Carolina — a world away in spirit. La Poste is rooted in the glamour of a European alpine ski resort. A medieval walled village in France. A sunflower and sun-filled Tuscan town. Possibly, a sweet little escape on the luxurious banks of Lake Como.

Here we will learn. We will sip wine. Picnic on the sun porch. Play a game of bocce, cold glass of wine in-hand. We will escape.

Here, we’ll share our passion for all-natural wine and European wine drinking culture with you. Wine made from grapes grown with care and respect for the land, the environment, our health. Wine that is made with a deep love for terroir - the taste of place - for the foods it might one day be sipped with. Settle into a cafe table with a glass or grab a bottle and some snacks, head to the porch or bocce courts.

Natural Wine + Cook Shop

Our most treasured provisions and tools.

Meander among the shelves filled with a curated selection of natural wines. Discover buttery and peppery olive oils to drizzle, mop up, use with abandon. Local grains, lovingly grown and stone-milled. Salts to cook with and crystalline pyramids for finishing. Super fresh, small batch spices, gorgeous knives and heirloom-quality cast iron pans. Ingredients that we have sourced over many years of cooking, traveling, eating. Simple, quality tools that endure and you will use over and over again.

A Creative Space

Upstairs, find a dreamy place to learn and experience.

Home to our cooking classes and creative workshops. Here, you might learn the meditative art of watercolors. You may spend the afternoon stirring soups, kneading dough, laughing and learning in the old wood-walled kitchen. We will learn all about wine here, too. Everyday, we will learn a new skill, a hobby, possibly even things about ourselves, our passions, our dreams we never knew possible. We will make new friends and celebrate with friends long known.
