chinese dim sum | a dinner cooking party with kristin | november 26th

Join us for a festive Chinese-inspired evening cooking class party upstairs in the La Poste kitchen!

Let’s learn about, cook + nibble on all of my favorite Dim Sum things….dumplings, wontons, buns, and other exotic small bites that would fill a rolling dim sum cart! (No chicken feet, I promise!) Easily one of my favorite and most festive ways to eat: many tiny plates crowding the island wafting scents of ginger and sweet soy!

This is a very casual cooking class dinner. We will mill around the kitchen and island, cooking together, eating, sipping, and celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday together.

We will also learn about and sip a selection of super festive wines from the shop that pair perfectly with Asian fare.

  • This is a wine-included cooking class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.

  • Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policy before signing up.

  • La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.

+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on, laid-back, focus on what’s in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.

+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.

+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of la poste, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.

+ la poste is surrounded by grassy and gravel areas, steps, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately, comfortable footwear and an extra layer of warmth is recommended.

+ I apologize, but La Poste is housed in a historic building and the kitchen can only be accessed by a small set of stairs to the second floor.
