11a - 3p

We are so excited to welcome Chloé Powlas to the kitchen at La Poste for this festive Fall cooking class and lunch! Chloé’s passion for local ingredients and seasonal cookery is evident in all of her menus and her excitement for being back in the mountains shows in how she supports and champions small, local farmers and artisans.

During our time together in the kitchen, we will learn all about some of her favorite autumnal ingredients and how to use them to create a beautiful, seasonal menu, along with many of her favorite kitchen tips and tricks! Following, we will enjoy a seated lunch of what we’ve prepared.

We will be on-hand with perfect Fall wines to sip during class and with lunch.

*Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policies before booking.

A little bit about Chloé:

After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu, Chloé spent 11 years honing her craft in acclaimed kitchens, including Florida’s Windsor Club and Austin, Texas farm-to-table pioneers Odd Duck and Emmer & Rye (where she served as sous chef.) Having spent her childhood summers right here in Macon and Jackson counties, she’s thrilled to return home and share her passion for food and cooking with you!

Currently, you’ll find Chloé cooking farm to table take home meals with her company, Hill Top Pantry, at the Wednesday market on the Village Green, the Highland’s Saturday morning market and at the 3Barn Farm’s farm stand in Franklin. She is also available for catered events in your home.

  • This is a wine-included cooking class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.

  • Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policy before signing up.

  • La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.
