french | a cooking class + dinner with chef peyton barrel | june 13th
friday, june 13, 2025
4p - 8p
Join us this evening for this very special dinner cooking class in the La Poste kitchen with guest chef Peyton Barrell. We are so excited that the kitchen is finally completed and we are dying to break it in with a truly celebratory class filled with amazing French food and wine…and one of our favorite chefs (+ friends!)
This evening, Peyton will be teaching us all about some of his favorite classic French dishes that you may find in an old-school bistro in Paris, or possibly a luxury wine chalet in Provence, or even a rustic spot along the sea…all paired with French wines chosen by Abby and …. Peyton’s divine sense of humor, of course!
Class will begin with a few hours of casual instruction around La Poste’s beautiful new kitchen island - nibbling on fancy small bites, of course - and then finish with a festive, seated dinner of what we’ve prepared.
This is a wine-included dinner cooking class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.
Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policy before signing up.
La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.
