11a - 3p

Please help us welcome Chef Katherine Frelon to the kitchen at La Poste as we spend the day learning all about the cuisine of Burgundy, France!

During this cozy cooking class and lunch, Katherine - who lives, teaches, and bakes in the charming Burgundy town of Beaune - will share some beautiful, traditional recipes, along with her insight into this spectacular area of France!

Class will begin with a few hours of casual instruction around La Poste’s big kitchen island - nibbling on small bites, of course - and then finish with a festive, seated lunch of what we’ve prepared.

Abby has chosen some very festive wines from France to pair with our snacks and lunch.

A little bit about Katherine:

Katherine is a wandering freelance Chef throughout the UK, France & US.  She founded the Gourmet Culinary and Wine retreat of ‘La Ferme de la Lochere’, in the heart of Burgundy where she inspires her guests to create fresh, fragrant, seasonal recipes gathering ingredients from local producers and fabulous markets.

As well as her freelance catering commitments she also has a passion for writing - being included in the BBC Good Food magazine and providing special occasion recipes in Worldwide publications in print and on line. https://katherinefrelon.com

  • This is a wine-included cooking class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.

  • Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policy before signing up.

  • La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.
