Beautiful Foods of the Eastern Mediterranean with Kristin

We hope you’ll join us in the upstairs teaching kitchen as we learn all about the fascinating, colorful, beautiful foods

Today, we will travel to the Eastern Mediterranean where it is not only extremely beautiful, but seeped in a magical history and rich food traditions. The countries of Turkey, Israel and Iran in particular all have vibrant, colorful cuisines that are not only gorgeous and delicious, but are also extremely healthy and simple to prepare at home. These cuisines are filled with exotic spices, pickled things, dips and all the flatbreads in which to scoop them up. Glorious vegetables, plump dried and fresh fruits, and nuts of all varieties make this style of food simply gorgeous.

After we spend a couple of hours in the kitchen, we’ll enjoy a seated lunch of what we’ve prepared. We will learn all about and pour some of our favorite summer wines from our favorite regions along the Mediterranean!

This is a wine-included cooking class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.

  • Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policy before signing up.

  • La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.

+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on, laid-back, focus on what’s in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.

+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.

+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of la poste, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.

+ la poste is surrounded by grassy and gravel areas, steps, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately, comfortable footwear and an extra layer of warmth is recommended.

+ I apologize, but La Poste is housed in a historic building and the kitchen can only be accessed by a small set of stairs to the second floor.
