What is more romantic than a cozy, old-school Italian restaurant? Red checkered table cloths, candles dripping wax in old Chianti bottles, bow tied waiters whipping up table side bowls of Caesar salad, starry eyed patrons twirling forkfuls of sauce-drenched noodles. That’s Amore!

Italian-American fare has a special place in my heart. It is a cuisine that I love cooking and I always find super romantic. Tonight’s menu will be filled with a combination of classic dishes and some very special surprises to celebrate the year’s most romantic evening!

Abby will also be here this evening to teach us about some very special wines that pair perfectly with our big Italian night!

Please join us for this special evening cooking class where we’ll cook together in the cozy kitchen, followed by a festive dinner of what we’ve prepared at the dining table.

We apologize, but we cannot accommodate vegetarians or gluten allergies for this class.

This is a wine-included cooking class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.

  • Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policy before signing up.

  • La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.

+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on, laid-back, focus on what’s in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.

+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.

+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of la poste, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.

+ la poste is surrounded by grassy and gravel areas, steps, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately, comfortable footwear and an extra layer of warmth is recommended.

+ I apologize, but La Poste is housed in a historic building and the kitchen can only be accessed by a small set of stairs to the second floor.
