Holiday Season is for Italian Wines! A wine tasting party with Luke from Haw River Wine Merchant
Join us for this festive + educational evening learning about why we love the wines from Italy (the most!) Our very good buddy, Luke Danner from Haw River Wine Merchant, will also be here pouring and chatting about some fabulous wines that are perfect for the winter months and - especially great for the upcoming holiday season - from all over Italy!
During this casual event in the cozy La Poste kitchen, we will taste the wines that we think represent why Italy produces some of the most interesting, special and delicious wines in the world.
Not only are we obsessed with Italian wines, but we are in amore of their entire drinking and snacking culture! While we taste + learn about their delicious wines, we will also nibble on + learn all about a festive spread of complimentary Italian aperitivo snacks!
A little bit about Haw River Wine Merchant:
Since 1995, Haw River Wine Merchant has sought to create a direct line between the families that produce wine in Italy and the community of the Carolinas. With a firm belief that wine is an essential part of everyone's table, we seek to provide exceptional value and authenticity by sourcing directly from the producer.
In recent years, we expanded our focus in Italy as well as in France and Spain to create a direct import portfolio of over 50 estates. In addition, we continue to represent the highly regarded national portfolios of Rosenthal Wine Merchant, De Maison Selections, Chloe Wine Imports, and Louis/Dressner Selections. We remain committed to being an independently owned business that seeks out high-quality wines and foods from producers that represent their cultural heritage.
This is a wine-included class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.

La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.
