We Luv Italy: a wine tasting + apertivo evening with Abby

Join La Poste’s Beverage Babe, Abby Powell, for this festive + educational evening learning about why we love the wines from Italy (the most!)

During this casual event, we will taste the wines that we think represent why Italy produces some of the most interesting, special and delicious wines in the world.

Not only are we obsessed with Italian wines, but we are in amore of their entire drinking and snacking culture! While we taste + learn about their delicious wines, we will also nibble on + learn all about a festive spread of complimentary aperitivo snacks!

A little bit about Abby:

Abby has spent all of her career dedicated to learning about hospitality, food + wine. Working in restaurants basically her whole life - she has a huge passion for creating fun + tasty experiences for people. Formal sommelier training early on got Abby excited about wine, but the real passion came when she started deep diving into NATURAL wines. For the past 5 years Abby has been working with Kristin at the Barn and now La Poste to educate others about the world of drinking wines that are better for us in every way.

She has worked with many wine lists as a sommelier, but La Poste has been specially curated with the tastiest all natural options we can source in our mountains.

This is a wine-included class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.

  • Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policy before signing up.

  • La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.
