Join us today for this very special Thanksgiving week lunch cooking class upstairs in the cozy La Poste kitchen with guest chef Peyton Barrell. We are so excited for a truly celebratory holiday class filled with amazing French food and wine…and one of our favorite chefs (+ friends!)

Today, Peyton teaches us all about one of the most delicious and decadent regions in France…the mountains of the Savoie! Le Cuisine de Savoyard is beloved for its world renowned dairy products (CHEESE!!) fragrant and unique Alpine herbs, and crisp wines. We will discuss a few of Frances finest products and cook some of the most decadent Fall dishes. 

Class will begin with a few hours of casual instruction around La Poste’s cozy kitchen island - nibbling on small bites, of course - and then finish with a festive, seated lunch of what we’ve prepared.

  • We apologize but for this class, we cannot accommodate dairy or gluten allergies, or non-meat eaters.

  • This is a wine-included cooking class. We apologize but due to our permit, no outside alcohol is allowed on La Poste’s property.

  • Please be aware of La Poste’s cancellation policy before signing up.

  • La Poste’s kitchen is located on the second floor of a historic building. Taking a small flight of stairs to the second story is required to access the kitchen. I apologize that this may not be ideal for everyone. Please let me know if you’re unable to attend for this reason and I will do my best to help you find a time to attend class at the Barn.

+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on, laid-back, focus on what’s in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.

+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.

+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of la poste, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.

+ la poste is surrounded by grassy and gravel areas, steps, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately, comfortable footwear and an extra layer of warmth is recommended.

+ I apologize, but La Poste is housed in a historic building and the kitchen can only be accessed by a small set of stairs to the second floor.
