Painting with a Flow, a Watercolor Workshop with Katie White
Join us on the pretty covered porch as we host watercolor artist Katie White for a relaxed, creative afternoon of painting just for the joy of it. In this class, you’ll explore watercolor as a gentle, flowing medium and a reminder that letting go can be part of the magic.
You don’t need any experience to join in; this is a playful, welcoming space where the focus is on the process over perfection. Come as you are, and leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and connected to your creativity.
- All materials are provided + beginners are most welcome!
Guests will be greeted with a glass of one of our favorite chilled bubbles, alongside lite complimentary nibbles. Additional wines by the glass or bottle (in addition to fun n/a beverages) will be available for purchase.
A little about Katie:
Katie White is a professional artist and teacher based in Tampa, Florida. She received her BFA in Graphic Communications from Washington University in St. Louis, where she focused on Editorial Illustration. After having 2 children, she taught elementary art before becoming a professional artist. Her work has been shown in various galleries across the southeast and stores such as Serena & Lily, Pottery Barn, Ballard Designs, and William & Sonoma Home.
Katie’s art is heavily inspired by nature. She integrates meditation into her daily paintings, marking each piece with tranquility. She is drawn to the horizon line, this serves as a visual reminder to stay grounded in the world we live in today.

+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on + laid-back. Cooking classes always focus on what’s local + in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.
+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.
+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of la poste, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.
+ la poste is surrounded by grassy and gravel areas, steps, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately for your chosen event. comfortable footwear is always recommended and checking the forecast to help with clothing choice is essential.
+ I apologize, but La Poste is housed in a historic building and the kitchen can only be accessed by a small set of stairs to the second floor.
